Santa Fe

My latest project the Santa Fe wine train using SD45 as power and 50, 60' box cars.  The SD45 are Kato and Life Like Proto 2000.  They all are equipped with Zimo MX64R decoders.  I used LEDs for headlights, rear lights and beacons.  I used 1.5V lights bulbs for class lights.

In these pictures you may notice that the 5599 and 5507 have black tank and black or silver trucks.  This is not what proto 2000 did.  The two engines came with blue trucks and tanks.  The handrails come blue too.  I also relocated the horn on the 5507 and added Detail West beacon.  The 5599 has not been reworked yet.
The following picture was taken at the GEHAMS train show in Bakersfield California on our modular layout

Here are a couple of pictures of the SD45 without the shell.  You can see the LED for the HL, HL and Beacon.  The front shows the 1.5V bulbs I used for the class light.  You can see the MX64R and the P2K mounted put in reverse.
